You can specify the ultra-wide 500/55/R20 tires on your Roll-Belt baler to significantly increase the in-field footprint, which helps reduce soil compaction during silage baling. New Holland's legacy in modern baling began over 70 years ago with the invention of the world’s first self-tying pickup baler in 1940, marking the start of an ongoing commitment to innovation. This pioneering spirit continued with the introduction of the very first round baler in 1974, and 15 years later, in 1989, the first Roll-Belt baler, the Model 630, was produced—marking a significant milestone in baling history.
Born in New Holland’s ancestral home and Centre of Round Baling Excellence in Pennsylvania, USA, today’s Roll-Belt balers are a product of extensive design and development work carried out in Plock, Poland, in collaboration with New Holland’s Centre of Harvesting Excellence in Zedelgem, Belgium. To ensure these balers meet the demands of modern farming, they underwent an extensive global testing program that produced over 125,000 bales.
